importing tumblr

  I think I’ve messed myself up – I was running the importer for my Tumblr blog, and it had been running for a couple of hours without importing anything. I stopped the import and tried to start it again, but now it says ‘you can only import one blog at a time,’ which implies the import is still running, somewhere, except that the original importing activity isn’t one the import page anymore. Have I totally shot myself in the foot here? Do I need to start over with a new wordpress url?

  I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again.

  If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

  If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.
