Importing Tumblr

Currently trying to import https://romancandlemagazine.tumblr.com to my WordPress, but it says that the domain is still connected. I’ve disconnected it and waited a few days, but I’m still getting the same message. Let us know where I’m going wrong.

Disconnect the WordPress.com app. Then try importing again and reconnecting. That should clear out the Custom Domain error, but if not, let us know!

Cheers @supernovia – I’ve done that but I’m still getting the same message. I’ve disconnected Tumblr to the domain – do I need to do something on Godaddy too? The new URL is working and linking to the wordpress, but wordpress is still telling me the Tumblr needs to be disconnected. Thanks.

Thanks for the additional info! How long ago did you disconnect? That can sometimes create an issue as it can be 48+ hours until domain settings changes fully “take effect” which can interfere with our ability to see it is diconnected.
For now I’ve reset the importer and disconnected your Tumblr account. Please try reconnecting here again and let us know if you are able to proceed with your import. Thanks!
