Importing Tumblr

    The importer wasn’t showing any progress or change so I ‘cleared account information’ because the instructions said that would allow to me to retstart if it stagnated. However when I try to click ‘Import Blog’ again it says the imported is already running. Is it working? Is it still importing my blog when I first initiated it? If so why doesn’t it seem connected an still says to ‘import’ said blog? Why are websites so vague with their instructions. Tumblr has already exhausted my patience today, I would appreciate some help.

    Hi there,

    I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again.

    If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

    If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.
