Importing Tumblr with Custom Domain

    Hi all

    I had a custom domain for my Tumblr account (www.elsiemarina.tumblr.com) and I have removed association with it so I can transfer over to WordPress. It has been well over 24 hours since I removed the custom domain from Tumblr but I still can’t import it to WordPress. I have tried clearing cookies etc but still no success.

    Any advice?

    Hi harleyodonnell96,

    Just to confirm — do you mean you are having trouble importing content from your Tumblr site to missmarinaonmarilyn.wordpress.com? If so, have you tried importing the content with these steps:

    Import from Tumblr

    It won’t be possible to use elsiemarina.tumblr.com as the address of your site on WordPress.com as this is a subdomain of Tumblr.com. Or is there a different domain you are trying to transfer?
