Importing Website from Wix

    Hello!

    I’m trying to import a website from Wix to WordPress (the URL of the site is http://www.bourbondose.com). While the import will actually work on things like my site favicon, and social media links, nothing else is getting imported. When I add my site to the import tool, I am getting a ‘403’ error.

    Can you let me know what’s wrong and how I can fix? I really want to move everything from Wix to WordPress compeltely.

    Hi there, sorry we lost sight of your posting. Migrating from Wix is not always as straightforward as we would hope, primarily because Wix themselves do not offer an official export process. You can confirm on their support page for exports, which does not actually contain instructions for exporting. :(

    That is to say that our importer is does it’s best to reverse-engineer an export of content, but we are not always able to import all contents from your previous site. That said, I am able to see your site on WordPress.com and things are looking good from what I can tell. You appear to have set things up and be close to launching your site.

    Did you need help with any last minute details before you move your domain?
