Importing Word Press Files

  I am trying to import some wordpress files (that I exported from an old blog of mine) into a new blog and every time I click on the import command, it gives me message saying we are working on importing your files and give us 24 hours to figure it out. It’ s been a week. No emails have come. Not sure if this should even happen because previously I was able to import files to my new website immediately.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I don’t see a WordPress import process currently running on saadiastreet.wordpress.com. I also see a number of posts, comments and pages. Is your content now on the blog? If not, you might try a new import.

  If you’re still having trouble, please let me know what kind of export file you have (where was your blog before) and how large a file it is. I assume from what you said that your export file came from another WordPress site? Is it a site on WordPress.com or was it hosted elsewhere? Do you have a .xml file to import?
