Importing WordPress blog

  I am not able to import wordpress blog. I am getting message I mention below for several days.
  Please Import my blog ASAP.

  “Import WordPress
  Processing…
  We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.”

  I’m having the same problem, uploaded an export file from wordpress.org a week or two ago and it worked fine, but since then I’ve deleted everything (too much content was getting confusing), tried importing the file again and although have recieved an email confirming the import has went through, none of the pages or posts are showing, and media files are showing up but not working.

  @teamgirlcomic — I checked your blog at https://teamgirlcomic.wordpress.com/ and I see you have quite a few posts in the Trash there. The importer will skip any posts and pages that are still on your site, including in the trash, to avoid importing duplicates of existing content. Can you please try emptying the trash on your blog to permanently delete that content before trying the import again? (Alternately, you can restore posts and pages you want to keep from the trash, rather than re-importing that content.)
