importing WordPress content into another wordpress blog taking forever

  I’m importing WordPress content into another wordpress blog but it’s taking forever. What can I do? I can’t even resubmit it as its stuck on: ‘Processing…

  We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.’
  So i’m contacting support… or trying too. I clicked on the link under contact us and it took me here.

  I have flagged this for the staff to reset the importer

  Should be done in less than 24 hours

  How large is your import file? Sometimes a large file can be an issue

  Hi there,

  Sorry for the wait. I have reset the importer for you so you can try importing that file again.

  From what I can see in the logs that file is only 1.5MB big, so it shouldn’t give any problems. If the import fails again, let me know, and also please include the URL of the blog from which you exported the file.
