importing wordpress xml files

  What i’m really after in some old posts,

  so i have several backups xml files,

  which i would like to load into a temporary blog.

  now i’ve been having this problem over and over with different site names?

  One other thing i would like to know,

  how long do you keep site names an files un the main server?

  looking for jensenempire2551wordpress.com
  and thisoldtoad.wordpress.com

  now if you still have files i would like in someway to restart these sites!
