Importing xanga file

  importing issues- states that the Xanga file isn’t in XML format and it is

  Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually before your import will show up on WordPress.com.

  I open the zip folder to start the file transfer and it will not go past the first file…states that it is not in XML format, when all of the files are in the format…unable to go any further from there. I have tried it several times with no success.

  For instructions on how to do a Xanga import, please see:

  Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually, but you will not import the .zip folder itself.

  I can see a number of imports have been completed. Could you let me know how many individual files were in your own .zip folder?
