Importing XML file
-
I attempted to import and XML file from TravelPod but the connection broke. I am trying to import the file again but it will not because it says I am in violation of it’s terms and agreements. 1.) Why? and 2.) Will importing this XML file a second time overwrite the first attempt?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi ulamreiki
I don’t see TravelPod listed on the Imports help page – https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/
but note the following:
“If we do not have an importing tool for your particular platform, you will need to try and convert it into one of the accepted formats so that you can use the proper importer. This means you first convert your blog to one of the services mentioned above (such as Blogger), and then import your blog from Blogger to WordPress.com.”
I have added the modlook tag to this thread so that one of the Happiness Engineers can help you with the “violation of terms and agreements.” message that is coming up.

Hi there,
If you have a suspended site notice on your site, please contact our terms of service team via the link on your dashboard or via the form here:
We’re not able to help with that here in the forums.

We’re not able to help with a suspended site in any way in the forums. That needs to be sorted out first, and then the OP can start a new thread for help with the import. I’m closing this thread now.
But just FYI, Travelpod is a service that’s shutting down. They’ve provided their users with export files that should work if imported via the WordPress importer on both WordPress.com and self-hosted sites.
