  I keep getting confirmation emails but none of my imports are showing up?

  Hi there,

  It can take a little time for all of the imported content to appear on your blog. I checked your blog at https://thesexydevilgirl.wordpress.com/ and I see your imported content appearing there. Are there any particular posts or other content that’s still missing?

  For some reason, nothing after August 2011 will load. February 2012 to August 2011 show up but nothing else I import shows up.

  I’m actually having a similar concern with files from Xanga. I did the upload Saturday evening and only some of my 2005 posts uploaded when there should be posts spanning 2002-2014. I went back and created a single .xml file which I tried to import as well. I’ve received emails from WP saying uploads were successful and uploads failed, but it’s not clear which files did which and I’ve received more emails than submitted files!

  Hi there,

  Can you both try importing your Xanga files using the WordPress importer instead? (Sometimes that will work if you run into trouble with the Xanga importer.) Please try to import the files in order, so starting with the file ending in _1, then _2, then _3, and so on.

  If the imported posts still don’t appear, please let me know.

  Hi Kathleen,

  Can you please try one more time to import one of the import files from Xanga? Please choose the second XML file (the one ending in _2 in the list) and try to import that one.

  Under Tools > Import on your blog, please choose “WordPress” instead of “Xanga” in the list there. If that still doesn’t work this time, please let me know!
