Improve Dailymotion video embeddings

Dailymotion video embedds should allow video resizing, by adding width and height parameters to the short code.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That can be done already. See here:
Embedding with a Shortcode http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/vimeo/#embedding-with-a-shortcodeTo change the width and height, for example to 500×280, you would use the following shortcode
[vimeo 44633289 w=500&h=280] -

Oh no! I am so sorry and I apologize. For some reason I didn’t catch onto “DailyMotion” and thought (I don’t know why) that you said Vimeo when you didn’t. :(

I have already seen that page you’ve mentioned before posting here.
So, I presume it’s not possible to resize Dailymotion video embedds, as it is with Vimeo and Youtube, right?

Hello there,
A forums search turned up the fact that there is not way that we can use to resize dailymotion videos at this time by using that shortcode. But you can resize dailymotion videos when you post them using the gigya shortcode method. ttp://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/07/03/gigya-shortcode-1-videos/

It didn’t work too.
I first tried this one
[gigya src="http://dai.ly/xua61p" width="500" height="300" quality="high" wmode="transparent" allowFullScreen="true"]
then this one
[gigya src="http://dai.ly/xua61p" width="500" height="300"]
They both didn’t work.
So, I’m following your suggestion and bringing the idea of adding the resize functionality to Dailymotion video embedding

No problem.
So, I did my working adding to that other user request to add more flexibility do Dailymotion video embedds.
Anyway, many thanks for your help.
