"Improved posting experience"

I like the “Classic” edit screen, the white one. I have loathed the other one with a blue background ever since it first appeared.
Before, the blue edit screen had a button to revert to the classic editing screen, which has now disappeared.
Because it has disappeared, I can no longer use the edit button on the drop-down menu from the black bar at the top of the post itself. I have to go to “Posts”, search for my original post, and click edit there.
I fear that other ways of getting to edit a post will redirect to the blue screen of death rather than the edit screen I like.
I have hated the blue screen editor since it first appeared, without even a way to save a draft. At one point the justification for it was that it was “simpler” than the classic editor, which no longer applies as it appears to have nearly all the features of the classic editor. However I do not want to have to learn a new screen from scratch when the edit screen I like is superior.
Please put back the button allowing us to revert to the classic edit screen. Please stop messing us about with the inferior blue-screen edit.
