"Improved Posting Experience" – schedule post and it publishes immediately.

    Using the “Improved posting experience” I wrote a post and scheduled it to publish 9/4/2014 at 6AM. I then clicked SCHEDULE and the post published, was shared to social media, emailed to subscribers, etc. I have a screen shot. Thanks!

    Bingo. I had a very similar thing happen to me on Aug 26. I scheduled my post to come out in the morning, but the link went out via Twitter and RSS as soon as I clicked “Schedule.” That was actually the worst of both worlds, since 18 readers clicked on my tweeted link and got nothing. The tweets and RSS updates should have the same delay as the scheduled post, or else we’re teasing our readers with phantom content.

    Not to mention that it shouldn’t publish until the scheduled date. Too frustrating…
