imputting thumbnails into post

    On one post I wanted to put more than one photo in, but it got to the point that they were going all over the place. What I was trying to do was very similar to what you can do in word, getting it all square in text etc. I realise now that it is a thumbnail issue, after spending some time looking at themes thinking that might have been the problem.

    Do I have to insert each media as a thumbnail each time?

    Can I insert to post/pages all different, or do they have to be the same size through out?

    I have seen in edit the scale bit, but I don´t understand it,
