[In case I'm not SOL] Undeleting deleted spam

  I’m pretty sure I’m s.o.l. on this one… but in case I am missing a ‘miracle’ button:
  I had a whole bunch of spam, except one which was a lovely genuine comment with no outward link. I put checkboxes in all the spammy ones, intending to apply the ‘delete’ function to just them, but instead hit the button to the right of it – delete all.
  It now shows that Trash is zero… so I’m thinking I permanently deleted them, and recovery is impossible.
  Am I correct?
