  I want my site to be able to be read in China.

  Will self-hosting help? Or mapping domain? I know nothing about technology and just want to set up a website at a low cost with wordpress. Are there any workarounds to make it possible?

  Purchasing a domain is not going to result in a miracle.

  Thanks. But how about wordpress.org? Can I have my own domain and install wordpress on it? If so is it difficult to operate?

  I don’t know if WordPress.org blogs which are hosted by many different hosts are blocked or not. As for your second question my answer is: it depends on how skilled you are.
