In Choco: "Click to have link open up in a separate page."

    Blog URL http://peregrine5700.wordpress.com
    New theme for me: Choco

I just now discovered/noticed that when I make a word/phrase into a link, there is the option at that time to have the link open up in a new separate page, leaving the blog page to remain visible. This is a good thing, of course, but if my memory serves correctly (and lately it is slipping), there is a way to set a preference to have links behave this way. I do not recall having the *option* of having the links open up in separate pages so that the home page blog post is not lost/left behind. I realize that it is a good option, but as an option at the time the link is being made, this means that it is something that will always have to be clicked, as opposed to something that happens automatically after one sets a preference.

Is this true of Choco in particular? Or are all WordPress blogs like this? All I remember is that I never had to click for the option with “Greyzed,” but that might simply mean that the option never existed at all!

    Can someone clarify?

    -Peregrine

There is no preference to set, you have to do it manually each time you create a link.
