In duotone theme cannot link image

In duotone theme, apart from the standard “archive” page, I have a second one where I insert an image. Up to here everything works fine. But when I link the image to an issuu document that I have created on the standalone player, the link doesn’t work.
Any ideas? Am I doing sthing wrong?

Even in the image editor when I paste my link URL, the link is not saved.
It always comes back to the regural link to the page itself.HELP:)

Monotone and Duotone are quirky themes, designed almost exclusively for photoblogging. Each post or page displays one image only, and the image links to next/previous posts or pages – you cannot make it link outside the blog (in fact, none of the regular image settings or options work in these two themes).
But you can insert the issuu document itself, by copying its embed code and transforming it into a WP-specific shortcode as explained here:

thank you panaghiotisadam. I will try to work out the thing with the shortcode and if I dont make it (most probably), I ll ask for your help.
