In India's map, under visits by country why are J&K and Arunachal shaded?

  When i go to my website and look at its stats, there is a tab titled “countries” in which India’s map is shown. Two states of India are shown shaded.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The shaded areas are the ones the visitors came from.

  Hi timethief… The shaded areas shown are by country, not by each state, is it? ‘Cos for USA I just see the whole country shaded. Not by state.

  Kindly confirm this.

  Kindly ignore my query. On investigating further I found out that ‘controversial’ territories are not shown as part of India.
