There are some widespread change and enhancements being made. Some blogs have been negatively impacted and all staff are on board trying to correct the problems. Please be patient while waiting for them to get to yours.

I’ve come back just to clarify something with you. Only a couple of themes here like Regulus are coded to automatically display the profile contents profile in the default sidebar. Once you place other widgets into the default sidebar that information disappears.
If you want your profile information to appear to your readers there are two choice you can make.
(1) Create an About page and place the profile information on it.
(2) Create a text widget with the profile information in it and place it in your sidebar. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/12/24/using-the-text-widget/
