In search of more specific style of theme

Are there any themes I could choose from to use as a database or list type site? For example if I want to make a list of businesses in my area and categorize them by the type of services they provide

While WordPress.com is primarily designed as a blogging platform you should be able to set it up as a database type site by using static pages and a custom menu rather than blog posts. You’ll be able to do that in any theme, so rather search the theme gallery for something with the type of look you’d prefer to use.
