Hello world, tengo un problema estoy empezando con wordpress y en about he puesto acerca del administrador y en esta página he puesto mi foto y mis datos personales y demás, cuando clico en la página acerca del administrador sale todo que es lo que quiero pero en la columna derecha sale todo tambien y me gustaria que saliera solo la foto y mis datos mas esenciales, si alguien puede ayudarme…gracias

Hola, David! Creo que depende del tema que has elegido…

Mira en el tablero, en ‘Presentacion’ como tienes los widgets de la barra lateral, es posible que tengas la ‘pagina 1’ como primer widget. Lo quitas y ya esta.

A ver si funciona…

oclcyc, YES check here to see if anyone needs help that speak Spanish. There was another user here, Gavilan, that spoke Spanish but I checked and his blog was suspended or something. :(

I try to check from time to time. I also tag those posts with ‘spanish’ to try and keep track… I just don’t have as much time as I’d like… :)

Hola Oclcyc, gracias por tu respuesta pero miro en tablero y no veo la presentación por ningún sitio, esto de ser novato…hasta ahora trabajaba en blogger, tengo un blog colgado te paso la URL aunque supongo que estando con wordpress, blogger no creo que te interese mucho pero ahi va:

De todos modos sigo buscando la presentación o los widgets a ver si aparecen por algún sitio, gracias de nuevo

‘Presentacion’ es una de las pestañas, al mismo nivel que el ‘Tablero’, no debajo.

Ahora mismo te cotilleo el blog… ;)

Yo sigo pendiente de este hilo por si puedo ayudar…

Not yet, timethief, I think the user is compeltely new to WP, coming from Blogger and a couple of other blogging systems and hasn’t yet checked wp.com fully.

I’ll keep watching the thread…

I have compiled some beginner resources but unfortunately they and their references would need to be translated. This will introduce some basic wordpress resources. And this will help with the set up and configuring of widgets.

yo tambien tengo problemas con el wordpress, tambien novato, asi porque cargo un avatar y nuca sale en el cuadrito, pero cuando mando estos comentarios en forum si sale, que sucede expliquenme por favos.

It is entirely a matter of opinion (mine, of course). I, personally, have trouble with being shutted up or to see other people being shutted up. It’s a matter of good or bad manners, I guess. However, I insist, maybe I’m too sensitive, because nobody yells you “Shut up!” literally if you know what I mean… Otherwise, you do find answers and support there.
