Inability to delete Gravatar yet URL available to third parties!! PLEASE READ.

Ok, so apparently we can’t delete our Gravatar profiles, we can only “disable” them.

Of course, that let’s you keep all the data and social graphs.

My problem now is that whenever I created my Gravatar account (if I even did, I had no idea), the URL for it needsto be changed.

I am using various third-party tools that help with my contacts. Some of these tools show my Gravatar icon … I didn’t even realize I had one until these tools showed me!

So now my Gravatar is wiped of the picture, any and all information, but I can’t remove it. And I can’t remove the URL.

And the URL, even though it’s “disabled”, is apparently still available via your APIs, because these third party tools are picking it up and associating it with me … and to my business account!

What am I supposed to do here? Please don’t close this (I’ve seen similar threads closed) because I will have to escalate it.

It’s not acceptable to not only block people from deleting potentially sensitive personal information, but then to openly share that information with anybody who wants to pay for the API.

I want it removed, and I want it unavailable to third-parties.
