Inaccessible blog pages for older posts

  On my site, the most recent blog posts are visible on page one, with the URL …/blog. At the bottom of the page, there are links for pages 2 and 3. However, when you click on either page 2, or page 3, or the arrow to take you to the next page, you are redirected to the homepage. Even though the URL displays as …/blog/page/2, the homepage is being displayed. Please advise how to correct this error.
