Inaccurate display of follower count

  Immediately after I changed my domain name, I noticed that my follower count which was 473 immediately changed to 0 on display about 6 months ago and up to today, no matter who follows me it can never display past 3. I’m also unable to follow sites, it either refuses or unfollows minutes after I hit the button. I need guidance here. Thanks
