Inaccurate messages

I was trying to post a blog, but I was repeatedly told that publishing failed. Later, I learned that someone viewed the blog post I thought had repeatedly failed! Now, I have duplicate posts out there. So, I attempted to delete them. Every time I did that, I got the message ‘error’. But are they really still there? I can’t tell for sure. I just can’t trust these error messages. I don’t understand. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a bug in the system? Could my web filter packages (WebRoot Secure Anywhere; Net Nanny) be interacting with your system in ways I don’t understand? Does anyone have any idea what’s happening.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You appear to have a post entitled “Comic Books for Parents Part one” that was posted today and also “Comic Books for Parents” (with the same content as far as I can see) that was posted yesterday. Just navigate to your post editor and delete one of them. Perhaps the errors you encountered were caused by a browser extension. Try a different browser if you can to see if that makes a difference.

Also it might help to try using the “old” wp-admin interface as the “new” My Site dashboard has sometimes been troublesome for me too. Yours is here:-

Thanks, Magic robot. I’m still having problems deleting duplicate posts, but at least some of them are gone! I’m down to two!
