inactivate wordpress blog

  Hi, i want to delete or inactivate my wordpress.com website, but I think i just denied acces a while ago and now the blog is still online. I mean ineennotendop.wordpress.com
  Is there any way I can delete it? Or can you see which emailadress is connected to it? I’m not happy because it appears very high in Google when I google my name.

  You can delete it or make it private so no one but you can access it.

  Be careful, deleting a blog permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (mphovm.wordpress.com)

  search engines will still keep your name searching high for a while even with a deleted blog

  if I was you – I don’t know how many posts you have – but I would edit each existing Post with the new text “This content has been deleted by the author” – then make a new Post with the same text (that notifies search engines you are still active – then as they crawl your site they should update with the new text – that also strips your name from things – I think it might get your name cleared quicker – then go to the Media Library and delete the pictures that might be tagged with your name

  PS – learn to leave your name out of these forums also – I have ask the staff to redact your name
