Inactive account – needs deleted

I want to delete my site because I host it on blogger. I haven’t posted anything on here in months and for some reason, when I type in http://www.satinandscotch.wordpress.com all of my current posts come up. I know you don’t want to hear that I use blogger, but it is the best option for me until I can become more advanced. I want to know if deleting this account will effect my posts on blogger? Also, I was charged $13 when I haven’t used this and switched users months ago. Please help!

Most important is you’re happy where you’re blogging. We’d like it to be us, but perhaps later!
I straightened things out for you. When you were on WordPress.com, you had domain mapping so folks could go to http://satinandscotch.com (nice name BTW) and see your blog. When that’s setup, we redirect anyone trying to go to http://satinandscotch.wordpress.com to http://satinandscotch.com so everything works as it should while you’re on WordPress.com.
After you left, that was still in place, so by going to your wordpress.com address, it redirected you to your current website.
So, here’s what I did for you:
- Refunded the $13 recently paid.
- Turned off the redirection to avoid future confusion
- Verified that your WordPress.com site is marked as private (so you can see the old site but no one else unless you’ve granted permission.
So, when you come back to WordPress.com ;-), you’ll have a good starting point! Was there anything in particular that led you to leave WordPress.com for Blogger? We’re working quite a bit on improving things for new users and your input would be very helpful!

Wow! What amazing customer service. Thank you for being so prompt, friendly and informative. I totally get it now! Thank you for refunding the charge and fixing the things I didn’t know how. I know wordpress is better than blogger in that it lets you customize your space more, but I’m just not advanced enough. I wanted someone to create a custom design and the one I could afford only worked with blogger. I hope to come back some day. I’m not as focused on my blog right now, but eventually. Thanks again for your help!!
