Inactive Blog fate

  Hello,
  I wanna know, is there any chances to permanently delete an account or .wordpress.com blog.. If it remains inactive a long time.. If yes how much that time is.
  I created a free wordpress blog a year back, I forget the email address which I used..
  Now issue is, I want to purchase domain and website with that user name, but that belong to other account… And I have not access to that…
  So as that account is inactive.. Is there any chance to permanently delete that account due to inactive condition… So that I may use that user name again.

  Hi @biodecoder, your best bet is to regain access to the account. Only a logged-in account owner can delete their account, and even if we could delete it for you, deleting it does not make it available again.

  We do have some options for account recovery though:

  Recover Your Account

  If you’ve just forgotten the email address, try resetting the password using the username, then check all of your addresses for the reset link.
