Inactive plugins not showing

Hello, I’ve been using WordPress to host my webcomic site for several months now and recently got approved for Google Adsense. However, when I went to go activate the plugin I had installed last month, it didn’t show up anywhere in the Plugin menu. I installed another Google Adsense plugin and the same thing happened.

This doesn’t seem to be a general plugin issue as I can see other newly installed plugins just fine. It’s only these two Google Adsense ones that are giving me trouble as I cannot delete or activate them if they don’t show up on the Plugin menu. I looked at the Editor for the plugins and they show up there, so they have been installed properly.

Can anyone help me to get these plugins to show up again so I can delete/activate them?

    Hi there,
This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins and run different versions of some themes with the same names http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Also, if it helps, I’m using WordPress through a DreamHost hoster, so there aren’t any downloaded files or folders to go through.

Yes it helps (sort of) because it confirms what I already determined ie. that you are posting to the wrong support forum. Best wishes with your site.
