Inappropriate Ad Run on Site

    It seems very inappropriate to run an abortion agency ad on a Christmas site. The support page mentioned WordPress has a process for a selection of appropriate ads. This may have been one that slipped through but how does one get it removed from a Christmas or religious site?

    Thanks for getting in touch. It’d be great if you can capture a screen shot of the ads for us.

    Also, there should be a small report this ad option visible. Please use that option as it will send us more detailed information needed for tracking down any ads that are violating our agreements.

    Also, it’s important to remember that the ads you’re seeing are not necessarily what your visitors also see. These are based off of the search history and sites that you visit as an individual. Someone who does a lot of research about Farming would see Farming ads, for example. A coffee enthusiast would see Coffee related ads, etc…

    Since WordPress.com run ads on free sites, another option you have is to upgrade to remove all ads from your site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/
