Inappropriate ads?

someone is spamming my wordpress account. they are posting ads which are suspect, and added an ad which automatically goes through my twitter account and onto facebook. these are not “good” ads. these are not innocuous. these are ads that have nothing to do with getting a “No Ad” account. i have had to delete a post because of a serious pop-up that if clicked on would surely produce a virus. i know there was a way to prevent these dangerous pop-ups from being thrown onto my blog. it was with one-click that i could prevent them from being generated. if small ads appear such as they do on an iPhone free app, i have no beef with it, but i do have a beef when they pose as part of the blog in order to spam, to phish, to produce viruses, and to introduce malware on an OS.

Kindly be advised. I do not want to delete my blog, but will do so if this matter is not addressed at once. These are NOT ads which pop-up, and I should in no way be forced to get a No Ad account because of hackers and spammers. Thank you.

  • To support the service (and keep free features free), we sometimes run advertisements, and the agreement for this has been in our terms of service since 2006.

These are the ads you’re seeing.

We try hard to only run them in limited places. If you would like to completely eliminate ads from appearing on your blog, we offer the No-Ads Upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/

Now, if you see an ad that produces a virus, please send a screenshot to support@wordpress.com so that we can report it to our ad provider.

i’d appreciate it if you would delete this in its entirety. or make the question private please. you do not comprehend in the slightest what happened.

    Thank you.

one malware appeared on my iPhone last evening. it did not appear on my blog. i deleted the post. today another uploaded via twitter onto facebook using a post on my blog–another malware (using YOUR connect apps), had nothing to do with ads, a video was inserted using this post. it was NOT an ad. deleted from twitter, facebook. looked on blog–not there.

i’ve changed passwords and made sure i use the https in admin. i want to make it absolutely clear to you–these were NOT ads. there is a security breech. kindly be advised.

again. make this private. i made a mistake making it public. it’s for personal reasons. thank you.

  • I’m not sure what to say to convince you, but I have looked over your blog yesterday and again now, and these are all ads inserted by us to pay the bills. Yes, even the videos are ads.
