Inappropriate advertising
-
Some inappropriate adverts have been added to my post this week. (Blog – plainuseful.com). When I go into the blog I don’t get to see the adverts but I’ve had a complaint from a customer who came across it via my company’s website and they sent me a screen grab.
For example – one of the four ads says ‘Weird Things Our Breasts Do In the Cold’ with a close up picture of a nipple. ..
Now I know you have a ‘no ads’ facility for £20 per year. Do you put these kinds of ads on people’s blogs so that they are ‘encouraged’ to subscribe to the upgrade asap? This kind of ‘advert’ is offensive and inappropriate in most contexts, and if it is indeed used as a tactic then it could be argued that it is blackmail. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks, we have contacted our advertiser, and they have remove it.
It’s definitely not used as any sort of “tactic” (at least not on our part), we hate these sorts of things as much as you do.
