Include Umlaut Plugin as an option

  This seems to be a very practical tool.

  For all the German and Austrian WordPress.com users, could you please include the conversion of “umlauts” in URLs such as “ä” to “ae” and so on.

  We can’t include the plugin for security and stability reasons, but that does sound like something worth pursuing for our own system.
