    Here is a basic table with some html options:
    border, width, alignment
    a title spanning some columns
    rows aligned center or left.
    All can be easily modified.

    <table border="0" width="450" align="center">
    <tbody>
    <tr>
    <td style="text-align:center;background-color:#eeeeee;" colspan="2">TITLE_HERE</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td style="text-align:center;">ROW 1_DATA_1_HERE</td>
    <td style="text-align:center;">ROW_1_DATA_2_HERE</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td style="text-align:center;">ROW_2_DATA_1_HERE</td>
    <td style="text-align:center;">ROW_2_DATA_2_HERE</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td style="text-align:left;">ROW_3_DATA_1_HERE</td>
    <td style="text-align:left;">ROW_3_DATA_2_HERE</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td style="text-align:left;">ROW_4_DATA_1_HERE</td>
    <td style="text-align:left;">ROW_4_DATA_2_HERE</td>
    </tr>
    </tbody></table>

    Exactly what do you want to do with your table?

    Others might likely advise WindowsLiveWriter, but I’m on a Mac so no go for me. But apparently Live Writer has great reviews. You can make tables with it.

    BTW pasting from Word is a very bad idea: it will mess up your blog.
    (sorry can’t find the link with those problems, but they are not fun.)

    best…

    Dearest, thank you very much.
    I am working on it right now.
    I beleive it would work perfectly.
    Just for your information, what I would like to do with my table is to post the matches results.
    Our fieldhockey league is quite small and the team leaders not always are able to know other matches results. I would like everybody knows how the position tables is going.
    Once again, thank you, and promise would visit your blog soon. I like cooking.

    HA! Anyone who calls me “dearest” is welcome to more help!!!

    Do you need help deciphering what the html tags of the table code mean?

    You can easily make a 5 column table with what I’ve clued you in on, but if you want definitions, just ask.

    And if you like cooking Japanese food, then you are most welcome to visit my blog. I don’t always stay on topic, and it is not for everyone’s interest, but you’d be welcome. Not necessary, though. This forum is help with no obligation to the volunteers.

    best to you!
