Including author on the blog post

  I’m using the Harmonic theme with a basic plan and I want to display the author name on each blog post (as I’m not the only one who will be posting content). I saw some documentation regarding modifying the Index.php file of the theme, but I couldn’t seem to find where to do this from. How can I add the author name to each blog post?

  Whether or not a byline appears is theme dependent. Some themes do not provide bylines at all. Themes that do provide bylines require the person to be an actual official author of the blog. Regardless of the theme, and provided the theme is designed to display a byline, bylines will only display now if there are at least two authors who are official users of the blog and both have at least one published post in the blog.

  There is no limitation on the total number of authors on any blog. If you’d like to invite others to publish posts or help approve comments on your blog, you can invite them to be a Contributor, Editor, or Author. If you want users to receive updates each time you publish new content you can invite them to be a follower/viewer.
