Including GSTIN & generating Tax Invoice for Business Plan Subscription

    We are a Private University in India, purchasing a business plan subscription on WordPress.com to host some content. As per the Indian government norms for businesses, the GSTIN number of the Business must be captured during the purchase and a Tax Invoice need to be generated for the purchase of subscription. As of now, we don’t see any provision on the billing page for capturing GSTIN. Please direct how to proceed.

    Thanks for your patience! The Accounts team is looking into how they can add self-service GSTIN entry at this time.

    In the meantime, you can modify your receipt to add your tax information before you print that receipt for your records by using the “Billing Details” field. You can find how to do that here:
