Income from WordAds
-
So I was in the WordAd program but I didn’t earn $100 yet to get a payment, the amount on my earnings is about $55.00. I’m in the process of switching from WordPress.com to WordPress.org and self hosting with GoDaddy. I was told before I switched that the amount in my WordAds account would somehow get sent to me eventually. What is that process? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sure, we’ll have your balance paid out with the rest of the payments at the end of the month.
Also, please note that you can generally get a much quicker response to your WordAds questions by contacting the WordAds team directly via http://wordads.co/contact/

Thank you. I have another question. I can’t tell if my subscribers have switched over. The people at GoDaddy assured me that they have, but I can’t tell anywhere on the new site if they are with me or not. I went through all of the Jet Pack applications that I could find on my new site, and everything else looks like it’s moved over, but I’m not convinced since I can’t see them. I’m also still splitting traffic between the new and old site, but I was told that should eventually stop. Thanks again.

I’m not sure how GoDaddy would do that for you, as they’d need access to your WordPress.com account. :)
You can transfer your followers following this guide: http://jetpack.me/support/subscription-migration-tool/

Thanks, I tried that and got as far as step 2. When I got to the screen with Jetpack Monitor, and then Move Followers From a WordPress.com Blog I went to select my old blog from the pull down menu and it wasn’t there. The pull down menu was blank, I couldn’t select anything. I’m not sure if this is because they were already moved. I can’t tell what’s going on. I don’t want to lose 160 subscribers

To make this even more confusing, I just get an alert that I have a new follower, but the alert used my old blog. So it said, you have a new follower on JulietJeske. It didn’t say you have a new follower on Julietjeskeblog which is my new account.

Hi! I had a look, and it doesn’t look like you actually started the subscriber migration, I still see them all listed at your julietjeske.wordpress.com site. The issue lies in the fact that your WordPress site used the same domain name as your self-hosted site; this is a known issue on our end, sorry for the confusion! I have migrated your subscribers for you.
To prevent folks from Following your old WordPress.com site, you’ll need to mark it as “Private”, here:
https://julietjeske.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php
Note that for your subscribers, it could take several hours for them to appear listed in your new site.
If you have any questions about this, let me know!

Oh my goodness thank you so much. I knew something was wrong. I’ll keep checking my site to see if they show up, thank you so much for moving them for me. I was really worried as I didn’t want to lose three years worth of work. I don’t know who most of those people are, they just started following me. :-)
