Incoming Hits From Diggs
-
Hello,
For a few months my incoming traffic from Digg as listed under referrers has been way down. OK I thought my posts are no longer resonating over there.
But yesterday I posted a post at my blog http://givingupcontrol.wordpress.com/2007/09/26/ron-paul-asks-ben-bernanke-where-is-the-moral-justification/ that has received 29 Digg votes http://www.digg.com/business_finance/Ron_Paul_Asks_Ben_Bernanke_Where_is_the_Moral_Justification
but my blog stats at WordPress only show 9 incoming hits from Digg. Can anyone help me make sense of this? My experience tells me that to get 29 Diggs, I would need probably at least 100 views from Digg. Why then are my WordPress stats showing only 9 hits from Digg?

They might be from regular readers who get your feed and wouldn’t show as hits at all, but that’s just speculation on my part.

Thanks for the suggestion. However since I do nothing in my posts to encourage Digg votes it seems very unlikely.
