Incoming Links are not visible?

  My incoming link wizard in dashboard is not showing any incoming link. But in google blog search and google searcg blog is indexed. When I search verbalinspiration.wordpress.com in google I get my site. Moreover my friends have also listed my blog in their sites which is also not visible. Please help.

  Incoming links are auto-generated from Google Blogsearch. If Google Blogsearch doesn’t detect any incoming links, it does not mean that you don’t have any, and there’s nothing wrong.

  Try Technorati, although it, too, has glitches.

  Also, the fact that your blog shows in a Google search does not mean there are any incoming links to it. They are entirely separate. And it has been my experience that, whatever anyone says, unless someone has actually clicked through a link it is unlikely that it will show up on link searches.

  raincoaster could you please clarify?

  The last two trackbacks I received appear in my dashboard (under Incoming Links) but does not appear in the comments of the posts themselves.. Is there something I can do to fix this?

  Trackbacks are and always have been glitchy. I’m afraid I can’t really offer any guidance at all on that except to suggest you contact staff.
