  How can I tell if I’ve been “linked?” There was something on my dashboard which let me know, but it’s disappeared! I hate to be rude and not thank people, but I can’t if I don’t know!

  Incoming links is one of those things that sometimes vanishes. Go to http://technorati.com and put your blog in and it will show you all the incoming links from blogs.

  Incoming Links were being pulled from Google Blog Search to display URLs around the Internet linking to your blog. They disappeared form our dashboard display and for months now WordPress.com bloggers have been asking on the WordPress.com support forum: Incoming links – where are they? Staff have provided two updates.

  In addition to Technorati you can use Seomoz Open Site Explorer backlinks checker, Alexa backlinks check, and Google backlinks checker.
