inconsistancy with login

  Hi, can anyone help please.
  When I login at the main WordPress site I have no problem but when a login window comes up on my blog or when I try to login using the admin link on my blog I get a message saying my password or user name is wrong. They aren’t, both work fine on the main site. Why is this? Is it something I should be concerned about?
