Inconsistent permissions problem while trying to edit via the dashboard.

    Hello, I am having this frustrating issue: I’m trying to edit my post categories via the dashboard, and sometimes everything will work just fine, but mostly it sends me to an error that says: “You need a higher level of permission. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this item.” Of course, other times it has no problem with it. I’m really frustrated at this. I’m the site administrator! And why would it let me some times but not others? Is it a bug? Please help. :(

    Hi there,

    Where exactly are you trying to edit your categories? At My Site ->Settings ->Writing, or via WP-Admin ->Posts ->Categories?

    Can you tell us a particular category you’re trying to edit? And what changes exactly are you trying to make?
