incorporating a wordpress blog on a custom made django/python site.

Hi there,
We have a custom site and we are wanting to know how we would go about adding a wordpress blog to the main domain. i.e sitename.co.nz/blog
Thanks,
Regan. -
Hi there :)
To add a WordPress blog to your main domain you can Map a Subdomain.
A subdomain is a second website that’s part of a larger domain and can have its own content. You can setup a subdomain for a domain you own, even one registered through another registrar.
Please read the original contribution and follow the steps here:

Hi Regan,
If you want the WordPress blog to appear on a subdirectory of your existing site, i.e. example.com/blog, you’ll need to use the open source WordPress software at a hosting provider like Bluehost. Their support should be able to advise you on how to map your site to that URL.
If you want to host the WordPress site here with us on WordPress.com, you’ll need to use a subdomain instead, i.e. blog.example.com, as we don’t support mapping to subdirectories.
Also note that to have a WordPress.com site appear at a custom domain or subdomain like that requires an upgrade to one of our paid plans.
