Incorrect blog link to my Blog page on lauragrace.net wordpress.com site

  Hello,
  Hello,

  The link to my “blog page” on my wordpress website is one link (http://lauragrace.net/lauras-blog/) and the actual link for the current blog is another (http://lauragrace.net/2013/09/06/grow-or-die-reinventing-ourselves-as-we-evolve/). I want people to see the latter one, how do I get the Blog page on my menu to show the latter link?

  Hi Laura – You want your Blog page to show all of your posts as you add them, correct? If so, go to Settings->Reading here and choose that page for your Posts Page at the top:
  https://lauravgrace.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

  Let me know if that’s not what you wanted!

  Hello Eurello,

  I want to keep the “Home” page as the page that appears when people type my website address. It seems that if I make the page if I make the changes you mentioned on the “posts page,” the blog page will become the page that appears when someone types in the site address.

  When I post a new blog, it doesn’t appear on the “blog” menu on my site. What appears is: http://lauragrace.net/lauras-blog/ and it’s not the new post.

  Hello Eurello,

  I do have one more question. I have another site in WordPress (www.spiritualcircle.org) and I have been trying to remove the Facebook like box on the Home page, but have not been successful. I reviewed the comments in the support forum and nothing is working. Do you have any idea how I can remove it?

  Hi Laura — That site is a self-hosted WordPress site. We can only support the sites hosted here at WordPress.com, so I’d ask for help in the WordPress.org forums here:
  http://wordpress.org/support/

  It looks like that “like” button is being inserted by a plugin – have you gone through your plugin list and deactivated any that might be inserting it?

  Thank-you for your very prompt response Eurello! I have deactivated the plug-ins and it didn’t work, so I’ll contact the support forum for WordPress.org.
