Incorrect dates on posts

Hi,
This morning I’ve realised that the dates on my posts aren’t appearing as I formatted them. The date format I have is j.m.Y (as we do I some parts of Europe), but what is appearing in the blog is “nov_novembre_abreviatura 9th, 2007”.
Any idea of which is the problem and how to solve it?

I can’t say I’ve seen that before. I can’t even work out what the format would be to display it like that. I copied it into my blog and didn’t get anything like that; I’m using the same template you are, MistyLook.
Have you tried changing to a different format to see if it changes, or changing themes and switching back? This site lists the different format properties, if you want to try some different ones.

I’ve change the format three or four times and it doesn’t work. I’ll try to change the theme, that seems a good idea. Thank you!

Well, It doesn’t work: I’ve changes the theme, dates show properly, but when I use the MistyLook again, dates appear wrong.

Did you have to change the theme completely to solve the problem?? I’m using MistyLook and experiencing the same thing – but I really like it otherwise and don’t want to change.
