incorrect domain registration

    I recently changed my url to amydawsauthor.wordpress.com and paid the $18 to make that one amydawsauthor.com. The receipt email #5560430‏ states that the domain I registered was amydawsmemoir.com…that was a mistake. Please advise how I can reallocate those funds to get amydawsauthor.com registered instead. Thank You.

    Hi Amy,

    As the nature of domains depends solely on the spelling, there wouldn’t be a way to edit the name. However, what you can do is cancel/refund the incorrect domain by going to Store > My Upgrades in your Dashboard and purchase the correct domain.

    There is a 48 hours refund period on domains, so please do this as soon as possible.
