incorrect e-mail address

  Hi, I’m new to the world of website’s and have fallen at the first hurdle! Inadvertently I have incorrectly inserted my e-mail address into the site. Despite my best efforts to correct this I Keep getting a message stating that the system won’t save the changes?
  Could I seek your assistance please.

  Just to check: While you are logged into your WordPress.com account, navigate to – https://wordpress.com/me/account

  Were you trying to change your email address here? Could you paste the exact error message you get?

  Hi, apologies for the delay in getting back to you but have not had the opportunity to get back to you since first post. In answer yes tried to correct e-mail address at point you indicated but only ever receive following message “There was a problem saving your changes”! Any help you could give would be most welcome.

  Provided you are logged in correctly as Admin and the email address you enter is not in use on another account you ought to be able to do that here https://wordpress.com/me/account

  Scroll down to Email Address and be sure to click the Save Account Settings link after you change it.

  If you are still not successful post the correct email address here and the software will redact it (hide it so only Staff can see it).
